Humble Beginnings & Foundation (1972-1996):
The company, formerly known as Chengdu Xindu Longqiao Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd., was established in 1976, initially focusing on casting and machining as its main business. In these early days, our focus was on servicing and replicating simple farming tools, laying the crucial groundwork for mechanical expertise.
As China's economic reforms took hold in the 1980s and the demand for mechanized farming solutions grew, we formally transitioned into a tractor manufacturing unit. In August 1992, we produced the first generation of small wheeled tractors, and these reliable machines quickly became indispensable tools for farmers in China's Sichuan region.
Transformation & Expansion (1990s-2000s) :
The 1990s marked a period of strategic transformation. In 1996, it was restructured into a private joint-stock enterprise and renamed Sichuan Tranlong Tractors Manufacturing Co., Ltd., marking the establishment of a modern corporate governance structure. Embracing the market economy, Tranlong invested significantly in technological upgrades and product development. By introducing advanced production lines and collaborating with national research institutes, we expanded our product portfolio into a comprehensive range of low- to medium-horsepower tractors. The product has taken the lead in passing ISO9001 and 3C national compulsory product certification. These machines were designed to handle the diverse and often challenging terrain of Southwest China, covering everything from plowing and planting to harvesting.
Our dedication to quality was recognized in 2005 when the “Tranlong”was awarded the prestigious "Sichuan Famous Brand" title. This period also marked our first steps onto the global stage, with initial exports to Southeast Asian markets, establishing our international footprint.
Innovation & Leadership (2010s - Present):
Entering a new era of smart agriculture, Tranlong has directed its efforts toward innovation, intelligence, and sustainability. We have launched a new generation of powerful, efficient, and environmentally friendly tractors that meet China's National IV emission standards.
In2012:
Tranlong has relocated to the Sichuan Modern Agricultural Machinery Industrial Park. During this period, we were awarded the titles of "National High-tech Enterprise" and "Sichuan Enterprise Technology Center". Our "Tranlong" brand products were honored with the title of "Sichuan Famous Brand Products"
In2016:
To adapt to the unique topography of hilly and mountainous areas, Tranlong has established the Strategic Alliance for Technological Innovation in Modern Agricultural Machinery Industry for Hilly and Mountainous Areas. It focuses on the research and development of new crawler tractors suitable for hilly and mountainous areas.
Participate in exhibitions around the world (2023-2025):
In order to expand into the global market, Tranlong has participated in agricultural machinery exhibitions in many countries around the world in recent years. By understanding local markets and agricultural machinery demands, the company has made localized modifications to its existing products.
